Kingdom Masters 2017

Great Swim Outing by CMSC swimmers to Tralee on April 22nd. 7 boys and 9 girls made the trip. This relatively small group definitely made their mark between records, PBs, relay wins and medal haul. As the saying goes its about quality not quantity, and this was truly proven when this group amassed a total of 49 individual medals between them. They combined to pile on another six wins in the relay events adding 24 more gold medals into their haul.

New members really did their bit too keeping the flag flying high.

While there were many performances to remember, I think those of you who were lucky to be present will agree with me, that Lorraine's anchor swim in the 160+ IM relay will be talked about in years to come! Well done to all!

The buzz was great, congratulations to all swimmers.

Cork Masters was well represented at the recent Sunday’s Well Gala on 11th Feb 2017. We had 25 swimmers participating in multiple swims on the day. With 11 female and 14 male swimmers in the team both genders showed up on the day. With a total of 17 personal best times the “talk” was backed up by some great performances.

Cork Masters won the Men’s 120+ medley and freestyle relays and took a 2nd and 3rdplace in the Men’s 160+ medley and freestyle relays respectively. In the women’s relays Cork Masters tool silver in the 120+ and 160+ medley then added another silver for the 200+ freestyle relay. Cork Masters took gold in the canon relay (four men, four ladies) to cap off a great day’s competing.

Thanks to coach Martin for keeping up with the frantic schedule of swims, times, splits, feedback etc.

A few members from other clubs noticed a buzz around the CMSC swimmers. Thanks to all of you forsupporting the club and each other.

The dream team (Rob, Sean G, Sean Nic, Paul), did great, winning the very competitive 100+ FC relay and putting CMSC where it belongs. All our relays dIid a brilliant job, from 100+ to the inspiring 200+ and off course grabbing gold.

Mallow Masters 5th December 2015

Thanks to all our members who attended the Mallow masters gala. It was a great day with some fantastic swims and well done to everyone!
It also looks like we have a new relay dream team that has the boys worried!! ----well done to Claire, Karen, Emer, Aishling winning all golds.Also, well done to our first timers who did great and off course the regulars, Terry needed help with all his golds!

Unfortunately we did not win BEST CLUB, this went to Limerick masters who had a big gang with them. Cork Masters will win next year as i know ye are all going to mallow...so put it in your calendar now…3rd Dec 2016
